About hazcom container labels
When a chemical is poured from its original container into a spray bottle, drum or tank, OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)) requires the new container to be labeled: the product identifier plus words, pictures, symbols or a combination that give the general hazard information — most workplaces simply repeat the shipped label's signal word, pictograms and hazard statements. The builder lays those out with the red-framed GHS pictograms, each shown once. Labels must be in English; other languages may be added. Copy the statements from the product's Safety Data Sheet.
