About danger signs
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.145(c)(1) reserves danger signs for places where an immediate hazard exists, and only there — overusing them dulls the warning. 1910.145(d)(2) sets the colors: red, black and white, with red as the predominating header color. The builder draws the familiar layout: a black header panel with the white DANGER signal word on a red oval, over a white field with your message in black. Add a second-language message and the header gains the Spanish signal word, PELIGRO.
