About biohazard signs
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.145(e)(4) calls for fluorescent orange or orange-red biological hazard signs, with lettering or symbols in a contrasting color, to mark equipment, containers, rooms and materials that contain or are contaminated with hazardous biological agents. The builder draws an orange-red field with the BIOHAZARD signal word over a rule, then the biological hazard symbol — the design 1910.145(f)(8)(ii) prescribes — beside your message (above it on a portrait sign), all in black. A bilingual sign adds RIESGO BIOLÓGICO. Danger, warning, caution and notice signs can carry the symbol too.
